Congratulations to Cheong Hoong, recipient of the Gordon Harris-sponsored Merit Award at this year’s Estuary Arts Members Merit Awards! 🎨🏆

Cheong received the award for the painting Cry of the Times, a powerful and thought-provoking work that the judge praised for capturing the emotion of its subject and reflecting some of the realities facing our world today.

It’s fantastic to see this year’s exhibition attracting more than 6,000 visitors, with over 32 artworks sold to date — a wonderful show of support for the local arts community.

Congratulations to Cheong and all of this year’s participating artists and award recipients. We’re proud to continue supporting the Estuary Arts Members Merit Awards. 💛
