👋🏻 Meet the Staff Monday! 👋🏻

This week, you're meeting Kayla, one of our Retail Assistants and Beauty Therapists! ✨

Kayla has been part of the Wairau Pharmacy team for 7 years! She completed her Diploma in Beauty and Body Therapy through NMIT in 2017.

Since joining Wairau Pharmacy, she has also completed her Level 3 New Zealand Certificate in Pharmacy (Introduction to Pharmacy Practice).

One of Kayla's favourite things about working at Wairau Pharmacy is helping her beauty clients feel good about themselves, as well as assisting customers with their day-to-day over-the-counter medication needs.

Kayla's favourite product is Pepper & Me's Schmack Burger Sauce! It goes well with absolutely anything! 🍔

When Kayla isn't at work, you'll find her at home watching her favourite TV shows and movies, socialising with friends, or enjoying the local Speedway meetings! 🏁

We're so lucky to have Kayla as part of our Wairau Pharmacy team! 💚

👋🏻 Meet the staff Monday!👋🏻

This week we're introducing you to Evelyn, one of our Pharmacy Technicians! 💊

Evelyn has been in the pharmacy game for 16 years and has been with us at Wairau Pharmacy for 5 years!

There are many favourite parts to Evelyn's job which include helping customers with their ailments, having a good laugh and the fact a day in pharmacy is always different! Most importantly, her highlight is her morning coffee 🥰 Techs run on coffee...and baking.

Evelyn's favourite product is Koru Nutrition Skin Fx as it's a really good moisturiser for sensitive skin and is a great travel size!

When Evelyn isn't at work, you'll find her at home with her family, in the garden, singing, baking, and spending time running around after her mini zoo of animals! You may also recognise her from her involvement in local musical theatre.

We absolutely love having Evelyn around, she certainly knows how to brighten up the day when we need it most and she is very knowledgeable in everything she does! ☀

This week, we’re introducing you to Emma, one of our Retail Assistants and Beauty Therapists! 💕✨

Emma has been part of the Wairau Pharmacy team for over 2 years. She completed her beauty apprenticeship through HITO, starting in 2021, where she gained hands-on experience and built her knowledge and passion for beauty and skincare.

One of Emma’s favourite things about working at Wairau Pharmacy is learning how medications can affect the skin, body and beauty treatments. She loves being able to combine her knowledge of both pharmacy and beauty to help our customers get the best advice and care. 💆🏼‍♀️💊

✨ Emma’s favourite product: SolarCare B3
This is an amazing product for helping with sun pigmentation, boosting hydration and improving the overall appearance of ageing skin.

When Emma isn’t at work, you’ll usually find her spending time with her two dogs, Bruno & Bear 🐶, getting stuck into a good book 📖, or watching Formula 1 🏎️ even if it means waking up at a ridiculous hour of the morning!

We’re lucky to have Emma as part of our team! 💕
