A field trip to traditional Japanese Washi papermakers. That’s where the Hashira Collection by Audo Copenhagen began. ✨

Designed by Norm Architects, the collection takes cylindrical raw linen forms and lets light do the rest. The translucent raw linen shade reveals the graphic structure within, emitting a soft, non-invasive glow in every direction. The pendant hangs quietly above a dining table or in a bedroom. The ceiling lamp brings the same warmth flush to the ceiling. The linear pendant stretches the form horizontally, perfect above an island or long table.

And the light it emits is simply gorgeous 😍

There are chandeliers, and then there is the Focus Collection by DCW éditions. These are not the same thing. ✨

Designed by Yuji Okitsu and inspired by the solar system, the Focus pendants are composed of luminous aluminium and PMMA discs suspended in a planetary arrangement. The Focus 3 has three discs. The Focus 4 spreads wider across a dining table or open-plan space. The Focus 5 goes further still, a five-disc installation that commands a room completely.

Each disc glows with integrated 2700K dimmable LED, warm and precise. The matt structure, the 3-metre cable, the considered spacing between each disc. Nothing here is accidental.

Available in Black, White and Gold (Focus 5 only), imported to order from France, with approximately 4 weeks for delivery. These are the kind of piece you plan a room around. 🤍

Dantela is the Greek word for lace. Look closely and you’ll see exactly why. ✨

The Dantela Wall Light by Memento Mori Ceramics is hand-folded in ceramic before firing, with real lace pressed into the surface to leave a fine woven texture in the glaze. The result is an organic, petal-like form with a gently undulating edge and a soft opal glass globe glowing quietly at its centre. Because each piece is hand-folded, no two are exactly alike.

Made right here in New Zealand, available in Blue Grey, Forest Green, Bone, White, and Soft Pink. At 175mm across, it’s smaller than you might expect, which somehow makes the craftsmanship even more impressive. Delicate in appearance, completely considered in ex*****on. 🩵💚🤍

We were delighted to source and supply the feature wall and pendant lighting for a selection of suites at the Grand Millennium Auckland, working alongside the talented team at Material Creative. ✨

Their brief was beautifully clear: an elegant transformation, elevating each space with luxurious materials, refined detailing, and timeless design to offer an unforgettable guest experience. The lighting had to match that ambition.

From the brass chandelier anchoring the dining and living spaces to the bedside wall sconces and picture lights casting warm, considered layers of light throughout, every fitting was chosen to feel at home in a space this refined.

The form is about as simple as it gets - a stoneware bowl casting a soft, contained glow. But fired at high temperature in the Robert Gordon Melbourne workshop, with natural variation in colour and shade baked into every piece, there’s nothing generic about it.

Good design solves problems beautifully. The Over Me by Northern is a perfect example. ✨

Flush mounted, minimal in profile, and quietly glowing through an opal glass shade that casts soft, even light without a hint of glare. It works on the ceiling, on the wall, in a hallway, a bedroom, or a living space. The kind of fitting that earns its place without ever demanding it.

We found our dream house in this Ponsonby Villa - although the SOKTAS lighting throughout might have a little something to do with it. 😉

From the kitchen to the bathrooms, the SOKTAS lights are doing something really special here. The way they sit against heavily veined natural stone, dark marble and limewash walls. That shadow play from natural light cutting across the discs. The warmth they bring to a space that could easily have felt cold.

Designed and crafted in Currumbin, Australia, SOKTAS ™ lighting has a quiet confidence that works in almost any interior. But in a space like this, it really sings. 🤍

Sometimes a pendant doesn’t need to fill a room to command it. ✨

The Exhaust Pendant by Buster + Punch, suspended low above a kitchen island in a space that knows exactly what it’s doing. Dark marble, warm timber, white cabinetry and track lighting doing the functional work overhead, while the Exhaust drops in as a single considered accent. That cross-knurl baffle detail is the kind of thing you only notice up close, and then you can’t stop noticing it.

A precise, low-glare directional beam from a honeycomb filter, a powder-coated body in Graphite or Stone, and four baffle finishes to choose from: Brass, Steel, Smoked Bronze, and Black. The kind of fitting that works in new builds and character spaces equally well. 🤍
