The Hashira Table Lamp by Audo Copenhagen is a new addition to the collection, and it fits right in. ✨

Designed by Norm Architects, the same field trip to traditional Japanese Washi papermakers that inspired the Hashira pendant and ceiling lamp is present here too. The slender cylindrical raw linen shade diffuses light both upward and downward, wrapping a room in warmth rather than directing it. The solid ash base grounds the whole thing quietly. A slide dimmer sits on the cord so you can adjust without hunting for a wall switch.

Because linen thickness varies slightly between pieces, each lamp carries its own subtle light quality. A small detail that makes it feel less like a product and more like an object. 🤍

It genuinely makes us happy every time one of these finds a new home. The Munari Collection by DCW éditions has been finding its way into some extraordinary spaces lately, and we couldn’t be more delighted. ✨

Designed by Lutz Pankow, the Munari is as much a kinetic sculpture as it is a light fitting. Slender steel rods radiate from a central hub, with polycarbonate spheres suspended at the ends, each one diffusing a warm 2400K glow. The cables cross between them to form a composition that shifts in appearance depending on where you stand. Extraordinary switched off. Even better switched on.

We had to get a photo of this one before it went to its new home. The Soul Story 2 by DCW éditions is just too good not to share. ✨

Designed by Charles Kalpakian as part of his Soul series, this is as much a sculptural art piece as it is a wall light. The plaster form opens outward to reveal a domed interior that holds and diffuses a warm 2700K glow, and the shadow play it casts across a wall is something else entirely. This is the White with Gold Leaf version, and the gilded interior catches the backlight in a way that’s simply perfection. Look closely and you’ll spot the tiny metal figure sitting within the composition, Kalpakian’s recurring biographical detail across the collection.

The Fiori di Pizzo Pendant by Il Fanale, here in a kitchen by Fremont Studio | Interior Design that we can’t stop looking at. Duck egg cabinetry, bold art, brass hardware, and the Fiori di Pizzo doing what it does best. The perforated ceramic shade casts the most delicate pattern of light, and in a space this full of personality, it holds its own beautifully. Sometimes the most quietly crafted piece is the one that earns the most attention.

Handcrafted in Italy from Bassano’s precious ceramics, with an antique brass fitting and a surface rendered as an embroidered lace of flowers and decorations. Available in Small, Medium, and Large, made to order with approximately 20 weeks for delivery. 🤍

The Flume Wall Light by J. Adams & Co. Precision-machined brass, finely reeded glass, and a vertical form that draws quietly on mid-century and Art Deco references. ✨

Each piece is made by hand in Birmingham, England. The integrated LED is recessed within the body, casting a warm ambient glow downward, which makes it particularly well suited beside a mirror or above a bedside table. Available in single and double configurations, in clear or frosted reeded glass, across four brass finishes: Antique Brass, Satin Brass, Bronze, and Satin Nickel.

Both IP20 and IP44 rated versions are available, so it works just as beautifully in a bathroom as it does in a bedroom or hallway. The kind of fitting that rewards a closer look. 🤍

A wall light that earns its place even before you switch it on. The In The Sun by DCW éditions. ✨

Designed by Dominique Perrault and Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost as a homage to the Sun King, it wraps a cylindrical glass body in a fine metallic mesh of brass or stainless steel. When lit, that mesh catches and refracts light into radiating patterns across the surrounding surfaces. The result is as much about what it does to the room as the light itself.

Available in three sizes, 190mm, 270mm, and 380mm, with body and mesh finishes independently selectable across Gold and Silver combinations. The kind of piece that works in a Parisian apartment, a whitewashed villa, or anywhere in between. 🤍

Two New Zealand studios, one really lovely pendant. ✨

The Ovale is a collaboration between Luke Jacomb Studio and Capsühl, inspired by vintage Italian oval lamp shades. That flattened, wide form is designed to sit low and pool light gently across the surface below rather than projecting it outward.

What makes it genuinely special is the glass. Each shade is individually hand-blown in Auckland, with the colour achieved through chemical reactions during the melting process rather than dyes or colourants. That means the colour will never fade, and the subtle variation you see from piece to piece, stronger in some areas and paler in others, is simply the nature of the material.

Available in Golden Spruce, Smoked Grey, Eel Green, and Steel Grey, in two sizes and two fitting finishes. Made to order in Auckland, with a 2 to 3 week lead time. 🤍
