Territory Manager – Christchurch
Golf & Irrigation is looking for someone with strong golf irrigation technical knowledge to support Golf clubs, commercial and landscape clients across New Zealand.

The role
• Provide system advice, quoting, training, and troubleshooting
• Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of customers
• Promote Rain Bird products and deliver tailored solutions
• Remote and on-site technical support
• Travel nationwide as required

What you’ll bring
• Solid golf irrigation experience (essential)
• Confident with tools, diagnostics, and system performance
• Good communication skills and a genuine relationship focus
• Full NZ driver’s licence and comfort with travel

The team from McHerron Water and Civil along with Course Superintendent Jared Wilson (under careful supervision by Site Foreman Murphy) have made great progress in the first two weeks on our project at McLeans Island Golf Club. The largest sections on mainline have been installed and work is progressing well with the installation of the Rain Bird Corporation 952 IC Rotors on the fairways and the 752 IC Rotors around the tee.

The pipe is ready! Pre-construction meeting next week with Casey Johnson from Rain Bird, then the team from McHerron Water & Civil will crack on with the second stage of the Rain Bird Cirrus Pro IC irrigation upgrade at McLeans Island Golf Club in Christchurch.

With just one final line of sprinklers awaiting installation after the completion of the building, this project has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of for the past 18 months.
