MEDIA RELEASE:

New Auction / Classified Marketplace launched successfully.

The 2 Trade it, website has been launched successfully, and with 10 days of full functioning infrastructure we are seeing good growth.

The Auction and Classified Marketplace dominated by Trademe is due to be shaken up by the new player in the market and the successful launch of 2tradeit.co.nz. Features such as "Make an Offer", ability to add links to social media pages in your store / profile. Ability to list items absolutely free forever. And many more cool features.

Day on Day we have been seeing steady growth, some of our banners are now showing high display figures, 20,000 for several of our banners, and one was only listed 2 days ago that has seen that figure.

We are seeing more and more visitors per day, which is a god sign and the more traffic we see the more chance for successful auctions.

Whilst our figures don't compare to some other websites, you have to remember we are only new, and are heading in the right direction.

We still have a few features we are working on to implement in the near future too.

Auctions and products are slowly being uploaded. Members are joining, and people signing up to our newsletter.

We offer a little something for one lucky active member for the month, in January it is a $100 Prezzy card. Which will be sent to a randomly selected active member.

In making a few changes for tonight a couple of errors popped up, for a few minutes, we have now resolved these issues pretty quickly, and everything appears to be working properly.

Our fees have been updated to reflect the options in full mode after 11:59PM tonight.

Remember its FREE to list, and FREE to sell, (or buy for that matter), but if you want to promote your listing then we do have a few options which are affordable to get more traffic to your auctions.

We also charge $25 per 30 days to be a featured store, although the stores are free themselves, the featured option means your store will feature first, and also be displayed on the home page.
