A little bit of coloured drawing to get myself back in the drawing vibe. To think I have always felt that I haven't been good at drawing in colour. Perhaps that has changed 🤔 just goes to show that the more you draw the more your skill improves. So for all you creatives out there...keep going ✍️

Latest drawing completed ✍️❤️🦭

I chose this piece as I was working on some different shading techniques plus it has been quite some time since I have done any drawing - I have been doing a lot of mixed media work instead. This is my colourful, experimental side with my art whereas my drawing is my skill. Both equally create harmonious happiness for me 🥰

Lots of new work to share 😀

I have been trying some different mdf shapes with the dragonfly and Mangōpare (hammerhead) designs.

* yellow canvas with Mangōpare design uses Christmas stamps with the whale's of Kaikōura and the champagne pools of Rotorua with a gloss varnish
20cmx40cm $140

* salmon canvas with Mangōpare design uses 4 colours with 4 NZ Birds:
Orange = Kereru/Wood Pigeon
Blue = Kotare/Sacred kingfisher
Salmon = Tete/Grey Teal
Purple = Kotuku/White Heron
20cmx30cm $140

* blue canvas with two Dragonflies uses two different roses stamps, two different stones (Agate & Nephrite) with 3 NZ Birds (rock wren, blue duck and kakapo)
