WHAT HAVE WE BEEN UP TO? - To refresh, restart, and reset... our little team had a little break. We cooked up a storm of ideas on our 'planning retreat'... Classic us, we didn't quite finish the plans, and already, we haven't quite stuck to them!!
What we found though, is that we just loved reconnecting with giggles and adventures. The truth is, we may never be 'consistent', and 'execute a solid marketing plan' that sees us dominating the world of online retail, but that's not us!! That's not why I started The Shoe Curator.
What our little trip reminded me, was that I love connecting with my people! I love yummy food, I love adventures, and yes... I love shoes.
We may not have completed our 2026 strategy on this trip, but we reconnected with what we are doing and why, AND, what we are not.
I'm sorry, Im not an influencer. Our posting is going to be inconsistent! We have lives that full of many varied things. We will continue to be a 'pop-up' business in more ways than one... coming and going... in the rather chaotic way we have lived our lives and our friendship so far 🖤
What we know we can and will be consistent about though, is our love for each other, for shoe shopping, for connecting with our kin, for GOOD food, for laughs, giggles, fun and love. And of course, for inconsistent chaos!
So that's what we will continue to bring in the year ahead... Gorgeous, unique, standout shoes, with our gorgeous messy, sensational hearts. A bit of sass. An edgy confidence. A WHOLE LOT OF WHAT WE LOVE ◾️

WE'RE BACK! - You may have noticed it's been extra quiet around here...Nicole and Mrs Neumann (AKA the Boss Babes) were taking an extra long holiday! After closing the showroom at the end of last year we both took off for a bit of R&R around the world, visiting Singapore, the US, the UK and a little bit of good old New Zealand.
We had some much needed family and whanau time, chuckled our guts out, slept a bit, re-fuelled, and even managed to get a few deliveries out for those sneaky orders that popped in from our shoe lovers!
Now we are all juiced up and excited to reconnect with our shoe fam!! We have some new releases we can't wait to share, and some fun colabs brewing. 2025 is going to be a banger - can't wait to share it with you all 🖤

SHOWROOM CLOSING - With mixed emotions, I am sharing that after almost three wonderful years on New Regent Street, we are transitioning The Shoe Curator to an ONLINE-AND-POP-UP-ONLY experience!

Many changes have occurred over the last 12 months and we have found ourselves stretched across too many commitments, in what is a very challenging economic climate.

Our passion for shoes remains the same, but as we balance children, careers, and a desire for ongoing growth and variety - we have decided that we need to let go of our permanent physical showroom, to deliver a better experience to our shoe-loving community.

1. We will be developing online groups for our Shoe Curator Kindred and VIP communities (this is how you will find out about pop up events and kindred gatherings!)

2. We will be having our biggest ever sale to reduce the amount of showroom stock that we need to move to our storage location!! (More details coming tomorrow)

I'd like to finally just thank each and every one of you for your support! Our showroom was a magical place because of the people that entered it.
We look forward to continuing that magic with you…
