Carpet installation is a craft. Creating joins that are seamless, precise and almost invisible takes skill — and it’s those details that make all the difference when it comes to the finished result.

A beautiful carpet deserves a beautiful installation.
That’s why we work with highly skilled, trusted installers who take pride in getting the details right.

Big weekend in Ōtautahi with the opening of our new stadium! 🏟 We've watched it rise over the city over the past few years from our store only 100m away.

So good to see the stadium operating and the city buzzing!

Thanks to Blair from for taking us on Saturday night to the Super Round rugby games. 🏉

Is it carpet ... or is it cake?!?

Lewis celebrated his 70th last week and Wendy created a carpet cake for him.

Looks pretty plush right?

This particular product was a one-off.
Definitely not a stocked range at Flooring Specialists.

"We love our new carpet- from the great advice about the right carpet to suit our 80‘s townhouse, to the excellent installers who made the tricky stairs look easy, everything was on time and organised by a great Flooring Specialists team. Highly Recommended!"
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Seeing new reviews come through is always a highlight, even more so when we get photos too!
We love seeing the finished result, when your flooring is in and you've put all your bits and pieces back where they belong.

Celebrating Lewis Tibbotts 🎉- he retires today after almost ⭐50⭐years in the flooring industry!!

As he hangs up his measuring tape for the last time, we thank Lewis for all his hard work, flooring expertise, great banter and bad jokes!

Flooring Specialists was started by Lewis and his father in the late 70's. So an absolute end of an era today for a legend of the industry! 🎉

Wishing Lewis all the best for his retirement!
