If you have favourite flowers you know you want, make sure to read the whole blog to truely understand what is and isn’t available in each of these months.

“What flowers are in season for my wedding?” Is a common question we get asked. Along with “hydrangea (for example) are my favourite flower” - when their wedding is in October. It always breaks our hearts when we have to tell someone their favourite flower isn’t in season for their wedding date. Or it’s in one of these in-between seasons that make it hard to guarantee.

If you’re not a florist or grower a lot of this isn’t common knowledge. You see all these stunning photos on Pinterest that you want to recreate and use the same flowers but they won’t always be around, depending on the month of your wedding.

Flowers can be a small OR big thing for your day. If you love flowers and have specific varieties in mind it’s actually important to think about right at the beginning when you choose your date. That’s why we have created this blog so that you can have as much information as possible when choosing your date. So that if flowers matter to you, you reduce the chance of being told a flower you love isn’t in season. Or the shade of blue you’re after isn’t avaible at that time of year.
