As we continue our journey to highlight small presses in Aotearoa, read on for a Q&A with Laura Borrowdale () from Ngā Pukapuka Pekapeka ().
Ōtautahi micro-press ngā pukapuka pekapeka was established in 2024 by writers Isla Huia, Laura Borrowdale, and Josiah Morgan. They are dedicated to publishing chapbooks (around 40 pages long) to help writers transition from magazine and journal publications to full-length books.
Their ethos is to champion emerging Aotearoa voices, bridge the gap between page and performance, and offer a dedicated space for poetry, short stories and memoirs.
