Since the earthquake in Christchurch in which we lost our physical shop we have had to make many changes and are pleased that we now have launched a new beautiful website in which you can find handmade Steiner inspired dolls , accessories and natural craft materials. Spindlewood Studio is open every Monday from 10 am to 5

pm , except school and public holidays, unless by appointment, if you would like to come in to have a look at the products...

Slowly she emerged as a girl who would dreamily wonder about the woodlands gathering acorns and other treasures on the way… Dressed warmly and practically for her walks in the woods she hopes to find her best friend who will enjoy her company as much as I have bringing her to life!! Here a few pics taken last Sunday ! With lots of enthusiasm this group came together to learn and make a Dollie. Amidst the conversations , laughter and in the end the tiredness (it was a long day!) all went home satisfied with their creations! Thank you all for an enjoyable day!!

Dollmaking Workshop Sunday 19 th July If you would like to make a 30 cm tall doll for a loved little person in your life then come and bring one to life from fabric and wool!! What better way to spend a winters day warming your hands creating a doll that will be loved as your love is in bedded in every stitch!! No experience needed !
Time: From 9.30 am to 5. 30 pm All materials provided but check the website for what sewing accessories you need to bring as well as your own lunch.
