I dug up my forget-me-not plants and tucked them in my greenhouse so I can have flowers through the NZ winter (June-August). And they are in full bloom now! Here are some earring and necklaces I made.

When I make my pressed flower New Zealand themed animal pictures I don't know at the start what all materials I'm going to use, it is a bit of hunting around my garden halfway through the picture to gather more materials or "puzzle pieces". Customers often think I paint the pictures, so I gathered plants around my yard and my plant press to show what plants I used in this... daisy bush, hopseed bush, almost tree leaves, grasses, rhododendren leaves, ivy, etc.

I have been making pressed flower art most of my life, since I was 10 years old. For the last 15 years, I switched my focus to mostly polymer clay art. I could't bring any pressed flowers to New Zealand so I have had to start my collection all over again by growing and pressing flowers. Introducing my new New Zealand themed animal art made entirely of pressed flowers, leaves, fern, and grasses that I started making in Sept 2025. I have made 14 originals so far, and sold 87 prints / magnets and 4 of my originals. I think I'm on the right track branching out in this direction as half my sales this year have been from my flower pictures!

I have grown, picked and pressed flowers and turned them into resin earrings. My best selling flower is forget-me-nots.
