As whimsy, folklore, and spookiness have their season, it's the perfect time of year to peek into the studio of Grave Digger Designs.

Olivia Trainor is a multi-media artist from Dunedin who employs crochet, drawing, sewing, and sculpture to give her distinctive character to a range of fabulous creatures, native critters, and fantasy accessories. They're cute, colourful, and a tiny bit creepy – perfect accompaniments to a little Halloween mischief.

Inspired by the elegant geometry of the Art Deco era, this handcrafted stained glass suncatcher is made in Taranaki, New Zealand, using reclaimed vintage window glass and szklo pattern.

Featuring rich sage green glass paired with a variety of beautifully textured clear glasses, the striking design catches the light throughout the day, highlighting the unique character and texture of each individual glass panel.

This piece is handcrafted using traditional stained glass techniques and finished with a rustic black patina and natural h**p hanging cord. It makes a beautiful addition to sunny windows, reading nooks, plant corners and vintage inspired interiors.
