It's glaze day today...
1) 2 coats of underglaze
2) glaze the eyes
3) add 2 coats of top glaze (this is the one that does it's funky thing in the kiln and creates the texture)

Urghhh, it's not always a happy kiln opening... I thought I'd fixed this problem and could bring my incense volcano design back but i opened the kiln this morning to find these pockmarked volcanoes.... More testing and frustration for me i think!
