At Te Pā Tākaro Party Hire, our tamariki and whānau come first. 🫶🏽

We absolutely love capturing the fun, laughter and special moments at our parties but we also understand that privacy matters, especially when children are involved.

📸 If we would like to share photos from your event on our page or other social media, we will always ask the family for permission first.

If you are happy for us to share the photo but do not want your child’s face shown, that is completely okay. We can blur their face, just like in this photo. ❤️

There is no pressure or expectation to have your children’s faces visible. Your wishes will always be respected.

Refundable Bond of $100 is required to secure the booking (conditions apply)

Price of hire is required 48hours prior to the date of hire.

As Matariki rises, we take time to remember those who have passed, celebrate our tamariki, and look forward with hope.

At Te Pā Tākaro Party Hire, our kaupapa is about bringing whānau together through play creating safe, inclusive spaces where every child can shine, just as they are.
Matariki reminds us of connection: to each other, to our whakapapa, and to the future we are nurturing for our tamariki.

The paua colours in this design reflect the stars, the moana, and renewal a reminder that when we come together with aroha, we grow stronger.

Kia Ora whanau,

I wanted to introduce my WHY I chose to jump into creating a party hire business to cater around Takiwātanga and he is my reason.

My son was diagnosed in 2022 with Autism and from there my understanding of his behaviour and learning at home and school all made sense, this is when life changed for us for the best.

As a mum I now understand how our babies with Takiwātanga are and that is my ultimate goal is making my business as autistic friendly as I possibly can.

We are only a small family business local to Christchurch NZ.

We have had a few speed humps along the way but I know we can overcome them to complete the vision I have for Te Pā Tākaro Party Hire.

Now this was a HUGE step for me as this is a massive leap of faith to ultimately come off the benefit and be proud of a huge accomplishment, Am I scared YES most definitely am, am I nervous absolutely YES!!!

With the support of you guys and hiring our gears helps us grow and implement more into our Pakihi (business) and also life in general.
