💤 How does Snoo Hire work?

We’ve made it as simple as possible, because let’s be honest… you already have enough on your plate when you’re expecting a baby or navigating life with a newborn.

✨ Book your Snoo online
✨ We organise delivery
✨ Set up your Snoo and start getting more sleep
✨ Weekly hire payments are automatically charged to your nominated card
✨ When you’re finished, let us know and we’ll organise the return

That’s it.

No large upfront purchase. No remembering to make weekly payments. No complicated contracts.

Simply book your Snoo, and we’ll take care of the rest.

It’s a true set-and-forget service, designed to make life a little easier during those precious (and often exhausting!) newborn months. 💛

Ready to see if a Snoo is right for your family? Send us a DM or head to the link in our bio to learn more.

One less thing to think about. More time to focus on your baby.

Big changes are happening at Shop Snooze 💛

After a massive 2025 - starting a third business, teaching part-time, and juggling life with two little humans... I completely burnt out and ended the year with shingles. It forced me to stop, reassess, and admit that something had to give.

So… Shop Snooze and Snoo Hire are coming together, and I’ve passed Ooly and the SNOOZE into the very capable hands of They’ll take such beautiful care of those products and the families who love them.

And I want to say this clearly - I’m not sad. Maybe a tiny bit nostalgic (especially looking back at this photo of my littlest love and me when this whole Shop Snooze journey began 🥹)… but mostly I feel light, grounded, and genuinely excited.

You’ll still find me here focusing on Snoo Hire, stocking - and pouring my heart into

Thank you for six incredible years. Your support has meant everything, and it’s been such a privilege helping families find more sleep and more calm.

Here’s to fresh energy, clearer priorities, and the next chapter 🤍

🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 5 star review from Olivia: Love our smartsleepers

These sleeping bags are fantastic. The material is lovely and soft and they've held up really well with lots of use and washes. I especially like that you can attach a blanket with velcro - so clever and means I don't have to worry about loose blankets on cold nights. We now own 3 of these sleeping bags as we like them so much

All jokes aside, the weight of this statement is huge.

Last year, I wrote an opinion piece for World Sleep Week which I wanted to share again after a recent sleep client was given some very different advice by a medical professional from what I generally recommend. It's a reminder that not all parents think the same way, have the same values, and have very different sleep needs based on their situation.

Unpopular opinion ahead… I stand against sleep martyrdom.

You don’t have to be a sleep martyr! ❤️❤️

Continuing on from our last post on tummy sleeping...

👶 Babies typically start rolling onto their stomachs around 4 to 6 months of age, as they explore their mobility. Once they can roll independently, it's generally considered safe for them to sleep in this position if they are no longer swaddled. 🔄 So if your wee one flips over during naptime or bedtime, there's no need to worry!⁣

💤 Contrary to the old adage, when they have reached this stage, you don't have to rush in to roll them back onto their back if they've drifted off to sleep on their tummy. Babies are experts at finding their most comfortable sleeping position, and as long as the sleep environment is safe - think firm mattress, no loose bedding, no cot bumpers or soft toys - they're good to go! 😊⁣

🚼 However for younger babies who are still swaddled, the possibility of rolling can cause some anxiety - especially if your newborn is prone to rolling onto their side and into the "newborn scrunch" during sleep. Now there's an extra layer of peace of mind available! 🎉 Enter SmartSnugg - the monitoring system designed to keep a watchful eye on your little one's sleep, alerting you if your baby has rolled onto their side or stomach.

With SmartSnugg, you can rest easier knowing that you'll be alerted if your wee one has got themselves into an unsafe sleep position 🌙✨⁣

Let's talk tummy sleep! 🌙✨

As a baby sleep consultant, I often get asked about when it's safe for babies to sleep on their tummies. The answer? Once they can confidently roll from back to tummy and tummy to back on their own, typically around 4-6 months. 🛌💤⁣

Here's the scoop: Once your little one has mastered the art of rolling from back to tummy, they have the muscle strength and coordination to adjust their sleeping position as needed. So if they drift off to sleep on their tummy, you can rest assured they're fine right where they are! 🥰⁣

Gone are the days of constantly flipping them onto their backs during the night. If they've flipped themselves onto their tummy and they're snoozing peacefully, there's no need to intervene. Just ensure their sleep environment is safe—firm mattress, no loose bedding or cot bumpers, and a clear crib free of hazards. ⁣

Remember, every baby is different, so always consult with your GP or paediatrician if you have any concerns or questions about your little one's sleep habits.

Sweet dreams! 💖
