What happens at the pharmacy once you see the doctor?
Your prescription may be emailed to us from the doctors (please make sure to specify Clevedon VILLAGE pharmacy) and if it is emailed down, we will text you once it is ready to be collected.
If we have not texted, there could be a few reasons why;
1 - We might not have the full quantity of your medications that day, so we will be waiting on stock to come in the order (generally the business next day unless there is stock issues which we will notify you about).
2 - It has not been completed yet. Your prescription may have been sent to us but it could still be in the pile of multiple other scripts coming in or may need its final check done before we are allowed to give it out.
3 - We might not have received it. Sometimes the doctors may not be able to send the script straight away - especially if you have requested a repeat script there could be up to a 48-hour delay.
4 - If you are a blister pack patient we do not text when your pack is ready, however please try to get your script in 2 weeks before you are due to start your next pack. They do take longer than a regular prescription to complete (especially on short weeks - they may not be ready until a week before you are due).
We have a lot going on behind the scenes to do also that you can’t see, as well as being easily accessible to our growing community so you may have to wait slightly longer than previous visits.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
