How exciting!

Come join us to stitch this gorgeous piece, designed and taught by the talented Trish Hill.

We are offering this class twice.
Pick the days that suit you, either the weekend or mid week. 12/13 or 15/16 September.

There has been lots of interest in this class already so go to our website and secure your spot.

We'd love to have you come stitch this Blackwork Needle Keep with us. The inside has pockets to store needle packets in.

Enrollments close 1st September.

Vanessa the Van and I had an uneventful crossing on Friday, although the swells were definitely noticeable on the way across.
We arrived in Picton to a beautiful day. Which made the diversion down through the centre of the island to Christchurch a much more enjoyable drive.
After a night in Christchurch and a slight frost I made the final trek down to Dunedin.
Yesterday, I unpacked the van and today I drove Vanessa home to her home in Southland.

Let's hark back to a more gentle time with the 2026 edition of Jane Austin's House collection. This year features characters from Northanger Abbey. With fabric names such as Tilney, Mrs Allen or the Captain we can imagine how a young Catherine Morland negotiated life in Regency England.
We only have two full kits for the Northanger Abbey Quilt and a selection of supporting fabrics, so be in quick before General Tilney changes his mind.

We're still here!

Visit us while you can here in the North Island before we pack up this afternoon.

Well, what an adventurous few days.

Meet Vanessa the Van! (Kindly lent by Sue L's sister).

After loading her up we awoke to a freezing morning šŸ„¶. Here she is defrosting before our trip.

Vanessa and I drove to Picton, where we stopped overnight.

On Friday morning we were up super early for a picture perfect ferry crossing. It was stunning.
Then we tootled up to Palmerston North.

Look at the perfect street sign I saw in Otaki!

This morning saw us at Palmerston North Boys school to set up our stand at the ANZEG - Threads of Connection Merchant Mall which opened for trading at 12 noon.

We're open there from today until Wednesday, pop by to see us!

Vanessa is resting before our big trip home but I'm available and happy to talk anything stitching with anyone or just pop by to say hi!

Also, I checked out the Exhibition today, it was fantastic, I'd highly recommend a visit - you'll be inspired.

We have been experiencing issues with our website recently.

You may have seen a page that indicates our website is not safe or available.

We haven't been hacked, this was a by- product of other "fixes" for separate issues.

Everything has fingers crossed been fixed now.
