🌱For me, it has been a year of reflection🪞 and healing 🪴 This year made me appreciate the importance of fostering meaningful connections ↔️and nurturing friendships👭. And in doing so I have found myself surrounded by the most beautiful & authentic humans. YOU, my community.

🌱Love Seli really feels like a community; every single one of you contributed to the growth of ✨OUR✨small business. I hope the universe repays that love back in tenfold because ya’ll doing god’s work 🤌🏾

it’s world mental health day 💚

running a business can be really stressful 💆🏾‍♀️ and in my case have been really overwhelming 😖 to the point I’ve had to step away 🔙 from running things to reflect and re-evaluate
💔->❤️‍🩹->❤️‍🔥

one of the important learnings from my reflection is the power of accompaniment 👭👫and community🪢;

though i do majority of production, marketing, customer service, design plans etc. — i find so much comfort in knowing i have a whole army of people who supports me in any & every way they can

example 1: when choosing the final logo designs i asked a few of my friends what they thought of each and took their feedbacks into consideration

example 2: when i want to bounce business ideas/plans i have my go-to people and they are always so willing to help

example 3: when I’m indecisive about things i have YOU help me make those decisions

example 4: i had 2 mates help me take this photo — simple acts speaks volume 🥰

ive learned that ofc i should aspire to be independent but it does not mean I can’t be or shouldn’t be interdependent

so build your community or village and foster authentic relationships that are mutual and most importantly, one that is centred around genuine love

we shouldn’t have to do or go through our struggles alone — reach out xx

🌙Lilac to me signifies early spring time 🌼, to me. it inspires new beginnings 🌒🌕, it represents a sense of calmness 🧘🏽‍♀️ & spirituality ☮️. Whenever I see the colour lilac my mood is instantly uplifted 📈.
