South Dunedin Street Festival Community Repair Station
The Dunedin Gasworks Museum is proud to be coordinating another community repair event as part of the South Dunedin Street Festival on Saturday.
The Festival Repair Station will be a haven for anyone struggling with glitchy computers, dodgy phones, ripped clothes, wonky bikes, and damaged small appliances.
Dunedin has some outstanding community organisations working in the field of community repair and reuse, and we're delighted to be hosting many of them on Saturday, including Stitch Kitchen, Com2Tech, Southern Youth Development, and ReGear. We'll also be hosting a Free Shop managed by the team from Synergy Wellness, and a community sewing project run by Sew On Period Care, so there's plenty for customers to do while they wait for their repair, and the Festival will be in full swing just outside.
South Dunedin Community Network rooms, 278a King Edward St, 10am - 3pm, Sat 8 March
