From next week, our black hanger clothing items at the Cat Rescue Dunedin Charity Shop will increase from $4 to $5.

This was not an easy decision for us. Like everyone, we are feeling the impact of the ever increasing expenses of caring for our rescue cats. As a charity, every dollar truly matters and goes straight back into saving, feeding, and rehoming the cats and kittens who need us most.

We are as always so grateful for your continued support, kindness, and understanding. By shopping with us, you’re not just buying great bargains, you’re helping give vulnerable cats a second chance at life. 🐱❤️

If you have been doing a clean out over the break please hold off dropping donations off until February 2nd as we are still sorting through the ones from the end of the year.

🐾 We need your help to give our Charity Shop a fresh new look! 🐾

As many of you know, our shop plays a huge role in keeping Cat Rescue Dunedin running. It helps us cover some of our vet bills, food, medications, and all the essentials that keep our precious cats safe and cared for. ❤️

But with the rising cost of living – for us and for everyone – our little shop needs a refresh to keep up. We’ve been offered an amazing opportunity: shop fittings from a recently closed store for just $600. It’s an incredible bargain that would completely transform our space and help us raise more funds long-term.

Unfortunately, every dollar we have right now is going directly to the cats, so we don’t have the budget for upgrades.

✨ This is where we’re hoping our wonderful community can step in.
If you're able to donate toward the $600 cost, no matter how small, it would make a huge difference. You’d be helping us create a brighter, more welcoming shop that can better support the rescue work we do every day.
