❤️
I write this with a very full heart 🧶❤️🧶
Last night we had a ‘kiwi’ farewell to 3 of our Wednesday nighters.
Roz will be back, she’s off to see her beautiful American family. When she’s back, we’ve challenged Roz to have a go at knitting in the round. Her little grandie is going to be well decked out!
Then we have our 2 fabulous, amazing, incredible students, Maria & Judith all the way from Norway. These lovely ladies have found their NZ knitting home with us at Crofters Yarn. We have learnt so much about Norwegian culture …. We’ve even discovered the Pav is a big part of their National Day! Roll over NZ & Aussie, there’s a new argument brewing 😂 We will miss you girls & wish you all the best for your new careers. Safe travels home 😍 & keep sharing your knitting journey with us.
All our regulars bought a plate bursting with NZ goodies (Maria bought a huge plate of Cinnamon buns, she’s lucky to be allowed out of the country), we have an incredible community that embraces whatever we are getting up to at Crofters Yarn. Knitting sometimes is definitely the secondary event x
Seriously, my heart is bursting with pride, each and every community member is a kind, gentle, humble, person who has helped build a strong supportive network. We care so much more than just enjoying the crafting, community is very much at our heart!
Today, we’re open 1 to 3:30, and Friday 10 to 12. Saturday 10 to 1. Pop in if you’d like to experience what is so much more than a studio with wool!
We’re going to meet Dye Studio 54 wool on Friday. My original post was hijacked with fabulous emotions 🎉
