🥕🐰 EASTER CLOSURE NOTICE 🐰🥕

Just a heads up our store will be closed this coming weekend for Easter!

We want to extend our thank you to all of our lovely customers, it has been an awesome start to the year and we look forward to seeing a few more familiar faces as the weather cools down!! We do currently have delivery spaces available for the remainder of the week so get in early to secure your spot :)

April 3rd- CLOSED (Good Friday)
April 4th - CLOSED
April 6th- CLOSED (Easter Monday)
April 7th- OPEN AS NORMAL

PINE BLOCK

A kiln dried block wood, light and easy to handle, providing immediate heat!

At $95 a cubic meter this is an awesome wood to have on hand! Available by the boot load (in store collection) or delivery!

(Keep in mind there is a wee delay in deliveries as we catch up on orders placed over the Christmas period!)

That being said it’s good to be back and we are loving seeing our regular customers again, Happy New Year 🥳 🤩

Our team recently completed a comprehensive fire safety training session with Liam from FireWatch Otago, making sure were not only delivery top quality firewood, but doing it with the highest safety standards in mind!

From proper storage practices to emergency procedures, our crew is now even better equipped to keep operations safe for everyone, in the yard and on the road 😎

The Woodshed will be closed Friday for Anzac day, however we are open again Saturday from 8:30am :)

All deliveries are completed on a first n first-served basis! We are also down a delivery driver, we are trying our very best but please keep in mind spots are limited for a delivery before the Easter weekend! We do, however, welcome collections with the use of free trailer hire!

If you've got a load of firewood being delivered in prep for winter, then get the King's Sports Firewood Stackers to do the heavy lifting (literally). Our sportsmen are gifted (that's right) at moving and stacking firewood in record times.

Donations go directly to the boys to help fund their sport expenses.

🤩Otago anniversary Day🤩

Just a reminder to all of our awesome customers, we are closed on Monday 24th March for Otago anniversary day! Open on Tuesday, business as normal!

As Winter approaches we are coming into our busy season, we are stoked to see so many familiar faces and see all of our regular customers return as the temperature drops! We wish you all a lovely long weekend and cant wait to see you all over the next few months!

Morning everyone 🙋‍♀️Looks like we're in for some potential thunderstorms in Central Otago, Clutha and Dunedin this afternoon.. 👇

🟡 Severe thunderstorm Watch 🟡
Area: Central Otago, Dunedin, Clutha, Southland

Period: 7hrs from 2pm - 9pm Tue, 18 Feb

Forecast: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to affect Southland, southern Central Otago, and inland Clutha and Dunedin during the afternoon and evening. Between 2pm and 9pm these thunderstorms could become SEVERE, generating LOCALISED DOWNPOURS with rainfall rates of 25 to 40 mm per hour.

Rainfall of this intensity can cause surface and/or flash flooding, especially about low-lying areas such as streams, rivers or narrow valleys, and may also lead to slips. Driving conditions will also be hazardous with surface flooding and poor visibility in heavy rain.

Note: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are favourable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area. People in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and monitor for possible Severe Thunderstorm
