UPDATE:
I just wanted to let you know that Steve's funeral will be on Monday 8 July at 1.30pm at St Andrew's Church in Geraldine. It would be really helpful if you could let me know if you'll be able to attend to help us with catering numbers. Please text 0272 472863 or send me a message through the page.

Well this is a post I never thought I'd be doing at this point in my life and not on a business page but it's the simplest way to notify my customers and followers and to explain the shop being closed at the moment and the state I'll be in when I do open back up again.
I'm so distraught and can't think clearly but Steve passed away so unexpectedly and suddenly on Wednesday night. We always joked that between us we make a good human and we certainly kept each other functioning with our health issues.
Steve was an amazing father and husband and Beth, Erin and I will miss him enormously - he leaves a huge hole in our hearts.
He was so patient with me with my ideas in the shop and love of doing things with the community as it caused him a great amount of work. He was so talented and hard-working.
I've received so many lovely messages - Waihi Lodge where he worked, where he cared for the residents and made them laugh with his fantastic humour - Mike told me the residents loved him very much.
I'll post again with funeral details as they are confirmed.
