Fox Lane Christmas Tree are owned by Don and Pip McLean and our four tamariki. We call Muriwai our home, Pip grew up here and Don grew up in Otoko. We have 3 hectares which we have planted out in a few thousand Pinus Radiata trees. We also have cats, a dog, chooks, ducks a pet sheep or two and a milking cow. Planting, weeding, trimming the pines to make them into Christmas trees is done by all the

family, the kids chip thistles and trim out the tops to bush the trees up. Pip and Don use hedge trimmers to trim the trees 3 times a year. We planted the first trees in 2018 and 2021 Christmas was our first sales. We welcome people to come out - walk the rows of trees to find the tree that suits you and we cut it down for you to take home. Or if you want to bring a saw you can cut your own down. After Christmas we offer a tree pickup service for a small fee, this is an easy way to dispose of the tree. Which we will mulch up to use on the land as plant mulch.

I did have a weedy dry entrance way with mulch.. now its just wet and I guess the mulch is all gone. Neat little whirlpool going under the driveway. Rain has slowed down a bit now. But the thunder is still rumbling. 140 ml in 3 1/2 hours.
