“Look back, to see forward.”

Based off 2025 World Champion, Yago Dora’s Lowers WCT winning surfboard.

In celebration of Yago’s freshly minted World Title, we are “early releasing” this RndPin version of the .

The F1 was an older model, made popular by Julian Wilson, 15 years ago. We completely updated it and recently brought it back to life.

Starting with a team day, down at Lowers, filming the boys riding a collection of vintage boards, pulled from the attic, for our still-unreleased edit, “USED”.
Among the collection (ranging from the 1980s-2010s), a pair of Julian’s F1’s, from 2011, were hits, inspiring a re-visit.

I searched out the original files from Julian’s magic, Lowers “Clown” board, overlaid it on a current Driver 3.0, incorporating many of the original’s curves, melding the two together, creating something new.

First we developed a squash tail, similar to the J-Dubs old board and got one under the feet of Cole Houshmand, who rode his first one to great success, in multiple events-El Salvador, Lowers (Eventually winning the WCT event in Brazil).

Emboldened, we made a handful of Round Pins, leading up to the Lowers CT event. We gave one of the first to Yago mid-event, a couple of nights before Finals Day, at Lowers. After one surf, he was so impressed enough to switch boards, riding in the Semis and Finals-winning our home event on this prototype .

Today we launched the model publicly.

The 6’0” standard dims is exact dims of Yagos, board, then scaled up and down. We also developed “Bro” dims and “Grom” dims. We got most everyone covered.

A full on, high performance machine, for anyone looking to ride a cutting edge, competitive based shortboard in every day surf.

The FORMULA_1 (F1) Yago’s Round Pin.

Based off (and scaled from) 2025 World Champion Yago Dora’s Lowers-winning 6’0 Round Pin surfboard. In celebration of Yago’s freshly minted World Title, we are “early releasing” his Round Pin tail version of the all-new FORMULA-1, for Fall ’25.

The Formula-1 was originally an older model, made popular by Julian Wilson 15 years ago. We completely updated it and recently brought it back to life, testing under the feet of Cole Houshmand and 2025 World Champ , among others.
