Norwegian Spirit is here! ☀️ What a beautiful day for them all too. 1869 passengers, 876 crew - she's a big one - and our last big ship for this season. Our mini market will be setting up from 10am down by the Gizzy sign if you're interested in a little Friday morning shopping, see you there!

A bit of a cloudy welcome to the passengers and crew of the 'Azamara Pursuit' this morning 🌧 Bit of a bumpy ride for those tenders too!
We have no mini market today as those of us there at set up were getting rained on, but we're back on Friday 30th with one for the Norwegian Spirit passengers. If you're interested in bringing your handcrafted wares along, feel free to contact us for more info via email to [email protected] :)

Good morning to Silver Nova! Mini market is being set up as we speak down on the Inner Harbour by the Gizzy sign for both the passengers and our lovely locals if anyone would like to pop down and say hello to the 700+ passengers!

Another stunning start to the day here in Gisborne today ☀️ On Sunday 11th January we have the Silver Nova with approx. 700+ passengers arriving - so this means, another Cruise Market! We'll be set up down in the Inner Harbour by the 'Gizzy' sign from around 9am, weather permitting of course. If you're interested in bringing your handmade items to the marketspace, feel free to come along! Our first cruise ship is coming into Gisborne during the first week of December - which means we have Cruise markets coming up! We're starting off mid December with the Silver Nova arriving on Sunday 14th, then Noordam on Monday 15th. Want to make your office the Inner Harbour for the day? Short break and straight back into it! 🛳The upcoming cruise season doesn't start until December this year here in Gisborne, but planning is already underway to ensure we can provide the best experience for our floating hotel visitors right from the second they set foot on land ;) start crossing fingers now for good weather ☀️ and great sea conditions which will mean no cancelled visits and great opportunities for awesome markets down on the inner harbour again 🛳

The debrief is done - and Cruise season is over for Tairawhiti/Gisborne for now.
We'll be working behind the scenes again soon to ensure the 2025/2026 season is just as successful overall as the one we've just finished has been - until then, this page will go into hibernation until it is needed again.
To all stallholders and those who visited the markets - thank you. You're ongoing support allows an awesome taste of local to passengers right from the moment they start heading into our city - let's keep it up next season too!
