Good morning it is a wet, cold day here in Gizzy.

Gizzy Retreats a new venture I am part of, and we are planning a series of crafty retreats here in Gisborne.
First up is a Knitting Retreat day on September 13th, in memory of our fabulous friend, designer & teacher Rebecca Newman. Rebecca was the talent behind Sage & Time, designer of the legendary Mystery Moth. Rebecca sadly passed away earlier this year.

I will be in the shop between 10 & 12 on Easter Saturday. A couple of very special customers asked if I could open for them, and I thought well all our customers are special to us..

It is with much sadness I write this post, Our lovely talented Rebecca Newman passed away on Friday after a courageous battle with cancer. Her infectious laugh and smile will forever live in our minds as she patiently taught many of us to knit her top down creations. The Mystery Moth & Fernside Kid being our most popular asked for class. She patiently taught it time after time.
Stay posted, we will do something in her memory in the near future.
