Saturday morning demolding this pretty pink piece Bloom ‘n Blessed

A memorial tribute of a beautiful wahine who was taken far too soon last year, lovingly requested by a loved one as a special gift for the passed wahines mama.

This is also my very first Bloom Block featuring a picture of a person, which makes this piece even more special to me. I feel truly privileged to have been trusted to create this piece in her memory.

May her memory continue to live on through the love of those who knew her. 💕🕊️

Another beautiful creation brought to life here at Bloom ‘n Blessed

This one is extra special, as the client was my Mum. She entrusted me with a photo and the ashes of her beloved fur baby, Charger, to create something meaningful in his memory.

I placed his ashes into a small glass vessel and incorporated it alongside his photo and my blooms, creating a beautiful memorial tribute that Mum can treasure forever.

This was my very first resin piece adding a photo, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. Most importantly, Mum loves it too.

It’s such an honour to create pieces that hold so much love, meaning and precious memories.

Bloom’n Blessed life update.

I fell in love with a good man 26 years ago. A man who still takes care of me in all the ways that matter. 10 years ago today, he asked me to be his his wife. And here we are, still blooming and still blessed. Its been a journey of mostly ups and im truely greatful. Heres to our beautiful bloom’n blessed life, love story and all the chapters still to come.

A Bloom’n Blessed first! 🦆 🎣🌿🤍📦

A parcel arrived from a client in Ōpōtiki, who entrusted me with some of her late husband’s most treasured personal items to transform into memorable keepsakes for herself and her whānau.

Three beautiful Bloom ‘n Blessed pieces were created, each carefully incorporating pieces of his story, his duck caller, spinner, trout fly-fishing reel, and the trout flies he had lovingly made himself.

It was such a privilege and honour to create these meaningful pieces, knowing they will hold memories and treasured reminders of a much loved husband, father and whānau member for years to come.

Today the arches were polished, wrapped and carefully packaged before being dropped off to be posted making this my very first Bloom’n Blessed parcel to leave Gizzy and travel out of town by courier!

And what a parcel it was.. 8.2kg of solid resin beauty leaving town to go Bloom’n Bless a very special whānau.

Thank you for trusting me with something so precious. It truly was an honour.

Things that go into each casting that you don’t see. It’s so much more than simply mixing resin and pouring it into a mould.

Every casting involves:

Creating and choosing from multiple design templates
Carefully positioning and sizing each bloom to fit the mould
Choosing the correct type of resin
Accurately measuring the resin and hardener
Controlling the resin temperature
Maintaining the right room temperature
Managing dust, bugs and other contaminants
Managing and reducing air bubbles throughout the process
Carefully timing each pour
Constantly checking and monitoring the casting
Allowing the correct curing time

There are so many little steps that happen behind the scenes and every single one can affect the final result.

I’m still learning, experimenting and working towards mastering all of these techniques. It takes patience, practice and a lot of trial and error.

So when you see the finished casting, just know there’s a lot more that goes into it than meets the eye.

Wow whānau! I am officially BOOKED OUT for Resin Bloom Blocks for 2026!

I now have enough orders to keep me semi busy right through until November. If I manage to smash them out quicker than expected and have the time, availability, and energy to take on a few more orders, I’ll be sure to let you all know.

If you’ve missed out but would like to secure a Resin Bloom Block for when I’m back in 2027, flick me a message and I’ll add you to my list.

Just a heads up I will still be taking last minute Grand and Luxe Floral Arrangement orders for Tangi only while I’m on my break, as these are still priority in my business. Hoping you dont, but If you need one at short notice, I’ll do my very best to make it happen. (Pics below)

A Bloom’n Blessed Life Update 🌸💕

I’ll be cutting back my workload over the coming months due to some very exciting personal news…

Life has surprised us in the most beautiful way with a very unexpected Bloom’n Blessing.

A baby girl is blooming in my belly, and she’s due to arrive in January 2027.

As we prepare for this exciting new chapter, I’ll be slowing things down. I plan to keep creating for as long as this growing belly lets me, and then I’ll be taking extended leave from my mahi.

If you’ve been thinking about placing an order, now is the perfect time to secure your spot. My availability is already very limited, and I’d hate for anyone to miss out before I take some time away.

Becoming pregnant at 41 wasn’t something I ever expected, but here we are. I feel incredibly blessed, grateful, and so excited for this journey. I’m embracing every moment and fully intend to rock this 41 (almost 42) year old pregnant Mama chapter like a Boss ✨
