We're proudly operated by the Piping and Drumming Academy of Hawke's Bay, a charitable trust dedicated to nurturing the next generation of pipers and drummers. The funds raised through our shop help provide opportunities for young people to learn, grow, perform, and become part of a supportive community through music.

We have an extra special event coming up. With Art Deco Weekend fast approaching, we thought you might like one last chance to get your costumes sorted.
We have decided to host a late night shopping opportunity between 4pm and 7pm and ALL clothes (including our regular clothes, art deco AND the furs) are all HALF PRICE!!!!!!!

Hello Op Shop enthusiasts!!
We’re looking for friendly volunteers to help out at our op shop! If you enjoy meeting new people, supporting a great cause, and giving pre-loved items a second life, we’d love to have you on the team. No experience needed—just a willingness to help and a smile!
We are looking for someone to volunteer on Thursdays from 1-4! We would also love some people who would like to be casual/ on call!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from all of us at The Pied Piper Op Shop!
We will be closed from 1pm on Wednesday the 24th of December, and will reopen for business as usual on the 5th of January 2026!

Goodness! It looks like some elves came by the shop last night and gave us a little (early) Christmas cheer!
We have some excellent gift ideas for the kids (and big kids too!) And this Christmas tree is also available for sale! Only $20!

Thank you all for coming out and supporting our official grand opening today!
It was great to have some members of the Napier Pipe Band out and volunteering their time to play tunes for us!
We'd also like to thank our volunteers and coordinator who help out in the shop daily, and for our event today. We couldn't do it without you!!

Now that the grand opening is done and dusted, we can now move on to our next big thing... Christmas!!! 🎄🎅🎁
Watch this space, because I will be posting some excellent gift ideas and stocking stuffers that we have patiently waiting to go into the store!!
