These little beauties have been my labour of love because I wanted to create a blend that was as natural as possible to give your skin the treat it deserves.

KAWAKAWA, CLAY AND TEA TREE ANTI-BAC FACE AND BODY SOAP

Home grown and harvested kawakawa infused in beautiful oils and Butters, with detoxifying green clay and antibacterial tea tree essential oil

BODY POLISHING SCRUBBY SOAP

Perfect for getting the dirt off or polishing up the skin, using natural apricot shell flower (none of those awful environmentally crap micro beads here) and gently fragranced with coconut

SENSITIVE SOUL FACE AND BODY SOAP

unscented, and coloured with the gentlest of pink clays, this understated little powerhouse is perfect for sensitive skin.

The soap stack comes with a natural mesh bag 🤙

Hey welcome to Wobbly Dog!

Let me introduce myself and give you a bit of background on Wobbly Dog.

My name is Karla and I'm a born and bred West Coaster, I live an active life exploring the West Coast and beyond, and I love the outdoors from the ocean to the mountains and everything in between.

I live in Greymouth, just 300m from one of the best surfbreaks in New Zealand and I'm also part of the local surf community, I've finally started learning how to surf too rather than just watching and taking photos!!

I love to create, whether it's carving wooden jewellery, or making soaps or other skin products from natural ingredients, and one day that led me to decide to give making surf wax a go...

That was easier said than done, but finally I came up with a couple of wax recipes that were extensively trialled and critiqued by my team rider and big wave surfer Zane who offered me performance feedback until the recipes were just right.

Naturally I started thinking about what some important skin care products are for when you're in the waves, or the hills or anywhere else outdoors and I moved onto creating a natural sun protection zinc and a lipbalm range.

Add in some other cool products including tee shirts, hats and a few other goodies and Wobbly Dog was born.

You might wonder why I chose the name Wobbly Dog?

1. I'd lost count of the amount of times I heard my surf buddies refer to the waves as being "wobbly" they also say "here comes a set" a lot

2. Dog sounded good, especially as some of my surfer friends are now in the "old dog" age group 😅

3. I liked the name because it sounded a bit silly
