Our crew was honored to be behind the desk providing the sound for this year's local ANZAC Day service in Morrinsville. It’s always a privilege to support our local community gatherings and ensure the tributes and the Last Post ring out loud and clear.

School assemblies and presentations just got a massive upgrade. We loved getting in and outfitting this space with a fresh Panasonic projector, a motorized screen, and wall-mounted audio to ensure every kid in the back row can hear clearly.

🔊 WE'RE HIRING – AV Technician

Waikato Sound & Lighting / AVStore are looking for an AV Technician to join our Hamilton based team.

We work across a wide range of projects including:

🎤 Conferences & corporate events
🎧 Live events & production
🔊 Audio visual installations
🏫 School and commercial AV systems

This role includes a mix of:

• Conference and event AV setup
• Audio visual system installations
• Sound and lighting systems
• Equipment preparation and workshop work
• Assisting with AV equipment in the AVStore showroom when required

We are looking for someone who already has some experience or training in audio visual, live production or technical installations and wants to further develop their skills working with professional AV systems.

You’ll be working with equipment and systems including Q-SYS, Sennheiser, Shure, RCF, Dante and Blackmagic.

This role suits someone with a genuine interest in audio, lighting, video or technical systems.
