It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the recent passing of our close friend, Bruce Laurenson.

Bruce was a master signwriter whose skill and creativity played an important part in shaping the identity of Backstreet Bargains Ltd. Over the years, he completed the well-known caricature of our owner, Bruce Tainui Gribble.

His craftsmanship, attention to detail and artistic talent can be seen throughout our company’s branding. We are proud to share these photographs of his work as a tribute to his remarkable expertise and the lasting contribution he made to our business.

Bruce was not only a gifted craftsman, but also a valued friend. His work will remain part of Backstreet Bargains for years to come, and he will be greatly missed.

Rest in peace, Bruce,.Rachael and the team at backstreetbargains
