Oh, what a show! 🌸🌼🌸🌼🌸 Thank you to all our exhibitors and visitors, it was such a beautiful day, with such beautiful flowers🌼🌸🌼 Well done to those who gave it a go for the first time, and to those who traveled a fair way to join our show, we couldn't do this without you🌸🌼🌸

There is a great deal of work that goes into putting on a show like this, so the biggest thank you goes to the stellar committee and impromptu helpers, you are all stars🌼🌸🌼🌸🌼

We have battled extreme heat, many downpours, a storm less than a week ago and even today the wind feels like it is trying to punish our petals... but no matter, the show must go on!😉🥳🌸❤️

🌸🌸HOW TO EXHIBIT YOUR BLOOMS🌸🌸

😊Just turn up 😊

🌸Bring your Dahlia blooms to Taradale High School Hall on either Friday 20th Feb between 5:30 - 8:30pm or Saturday 21st Feb 6:00-9:00am
🌸 On arrival register to get your exhibitors code (no fee) and collect some green vases
🌸 Stage your blooms in the vases using wet newspaper to secure the stems and place them in the appropriate category display as per the show schedule

Some tips:
🌸Bring along newspaper, secateurs and a craft knife
🌸Cut the stems as long as possible and secure them carefully for travel as the blooms bruise easily
🌸If this is your first time exhibiting, ask for assistance from a committee member😊

Hall open to exhibitors for flower staging on Friday 20th Feb 5:30-8pm and Saturday 21st Feb 6:00-9am. Remember to bring along plenty of newspaper to put in vases and your secateurs.
