Ride amongst the rugged West Coast Rain forests, experience the Southern Alps towering above, overpowering you in its valley and see where the Great Alpine fault meets you at the foothills. Follow the foreshore of the Tasman Sea and learn

the ways of old. You will find tracks carved by pioneering gold rush miners, extensive water races, logging tramways and tram lines. The trail is mostly off road on a firmly packed smooth gravel surface with an ambient gradient and only a couple of short sections you may prefer to walk with outstanding views. The trail can be ridden either in part or in its entirety. Four days split into aprox 35kms each day with accommodation and Shuttle pickup/drop off points at various locations along the way.
