A family owned business that creates some of the worlds finest glassware. Every piece is made in the workshop which you can watch being made while you peruse the extensive range of glass items in the studio.

The paperweight shown features a detailed millefiori wreath arrangement set over a delicate white swirl background. The CG letters in the base indicate that this was made by Caithness Glass in Scotland in 1976.

Vintage Paperweight #15

This beautiful millefiori 'thousand flowers' paperweight is made where colored glass rods are bundled, stretched, sliced into patterned canes, and encased in clear lead glass. The structure is known as a "mushroom" or "tuft" style, where a concentric, multi-layered arrangement of white ruffle canes topped with red-and-white accents is drawn downwards to form a central vertical stem. Produced by Fratelli Toso between the 1950s and 1970s.

Vintage Paperweight #14

This pair are vintage millefiori scramble glass paperweights featuring vibrant multi-coloured glass canes encased in clear domes. A "scramble" mix of colorful floral and ribbon canes in shades of red, blue, yellow, green, and white. These are hand-blown solid clear glass spheres that magnify the intricate internal cane patterns. Includes one larger round paperweight and a smaller matching companion piece. Please note bases have not been polished. We can do that for the buyer if they wish.

Artist: Fratelli Toso, Murano
Year: 1950s-1960s
Dimensions: 60mm x 50mm approx and the mini is 37mm x 30mm approx
