Ten years ago this week, New Zealanders chose the Silver Fern as the preferred alternative flag in the first flag referendum, a moment that sparked conversations about our identity as a nation.

We thank all you for your support over the past decade, it’s hard to believe it’s already been been 10 years!

We are taking a short break to celebrate the festive season. We will be closed from Dec 19th and returning Monday, Jan 5th, 2026.

Our online store silverfernflag.org remains open 24/7! Any orders placed during the break will be shipped as soon as we reopen.
