A wee sneaky peek at S & S's most beautiful spring wedding.

It was a tad windy, so I moved the bottoms of the installs inside Rose Chapel, one on the foyer table and one each side of the aisle entry.

All four tall installs and their bases were repurposed into the reception room Cossars Wineshed while this loved up couple got some incredible pics around chch.

Bright, playful and full of movement.
Artificial flowers don’t have to play it safe.

Layers of colour, delicate wildflower shapes and a slightly undone feel make these arrangements feel garden-picked rather than overly styled.

Still on memory lane!

The first bride and groom to use the Azaleah Collection 🤎
and this one was a little bit special.

Brylee’s mum had actually been one of my very first brides, back under the old business model, so getting to be part of another wedding for the family felt pretty amazing.

At the time, Azaleah was much more of a set collection — a certain number of florals, designed in a particular way.

Since then, it’s evolved quite a bit.

Working with different couples, venues and spaces taught me what worked, what didn’t, and probably most importantly, that no two weddings need exactly the same thing.

The heart of Azaleah is still the same — those earthy pinks, muted browns, antique greens and softer natural tones — but now the collection is simply the starting point.

From there, I design around the couple, the venue and the overall experience we’re creating.

It’s quite nice looking back at where it started. 🤎

I’ve been updating the Artificielle Lookbook — my other Instagram that’s purely visual — and I’ve hit memory lane.

These two showcased the Hydee Collection, a collection of florals in all shades of white.

I loved that Sal chose a n**e shade for the bridesmaids. It looked so gorgeous amongst all the white, and in the Bangor Farm setting it really stood out.

In the beginning, the collections were a set amount of florals, but it didn’t take me long to learn that not all weddings — or venues — are one and the same.

So I still have my three collections — Hydee, Ivie and Azaleah — but now they’re created around each couple and their overall experience.

Taking into account the venue, all the different areas of the day, and the feeling you want you and your loved ones to remember it by.
