Most of us love our coffee culture and here’s proof that it’s been going on for a long time! This Monday Memory is of the original Inglewood Coffee Palace which was located on the corner of Junction Road and Mountain Road. A Swiss flag can be seen flying on top of the building, which was opened by Alfred Fromm from Switzerland in May 1903. You wouldn’t have been able to have enjoyed a flat white though – they weren’t invented until the 1980s!
