This Friday night on rage we’ll be paying tribute to one of rock music’s true legends Rick Davies, who passed away this week after a long battle with cancer. Best known as founder, vocalist, keyboardist and only constant member of the British rock band Supertramp, Rick composed some of the band's best-known hits like ‘Bloody Well Right’ and ‘Goodbye Stranger’. His bluesy piano solos and jazz-tinged prog rock compositions are stamped into the universal eardrums of seventies rock.

Friday night’s tribute will showcase a rich collection of Rick and Supertramp’s many classic tracks; including ‘Dreamer’, ‘The Logical Song’, ‘Bloody Well Right’, ‘It's Raining Again’, and ‘Goodbye Stranger’. Tune into ABC TV late from 12:16am to catch Rick sing, in his own words,

🎵 It was an early morning yesterday
I was up before the dawn
And I really have enjoyed my stay
But I must be moving on 🎵
