Ivan's Blue Beetles v Carl's Skin Harvesters.
Round one: Space Marine bu****it and Chaos heroics. Raptors died, one's were rolled en masse.
Round two: Space Marine bu****it and Chaos heroics. Glorious golden dice change the battle.
Blue Beetle termies appear and the Harvesters valiantly fled in the opposite direction, spilling out of transports, wildly swinging Daemon Hammers and chain swords.
Round three: Bloodbath.
A Rhino charged the Beetle termies, chaos termies charged a tank and got a hard spanking from a boy racer, a dreadnaught and a Land raider kicked each other, chosen charged a sniper nest and a daemon prince took a time out inside a building.
Round four: who is gonna clean this s**t up.
Bodies everywhere, dice sworn at and the game ends.

Matthew's **Shield Host Adeptus Custodes** had a vicious battle with Myles' **Plague Legion Chaos Daemons** tonight at the shop for the weekly Warhammer night! 2,000 points vs 2,000 points. The Chaos Daemons led by Be'lakor, Rotigus and the Great Unclean One Chug Bingus, at the head of a host of bloated, plague-stricken Nurglish Daemons, fighting for the **Take and Hold** win condition. The Adeptus Custodes band led by a glittering Allarus Shield Captain consisted of squads of golden Custodian fighters backed up by heavy grav-vehicles and Contemptor Dreadnoughts fighting to **Purge the Foe** as their win condition.
**Turn 1** - The Daemon army deployed aggressively with Nurgling Swarms infiltrated close to the Custodian deployment zone while the Custodes kept the bulk of their warriors safely inside their Grav-Carrier transport to wait for the opportune moment to strike. The Daemons moved first, the majority of the Nurgling Swarms succeeding in their nuisance charges into the Custodian grav vehicles in a bid to tie them down. While one unit managed to crawl across the hull of the Caladius Grav-Tank and prevent it from bringing its heavy weapons to bear too early, a Heroic Intervention from the nearby Custodian Wardens led by a Blade Champion freed up the Custodian Grav-Carrier, suffering no Nurgling to live. The remainder of the Daemon host staged in the midboard, relying on Be'lakor's wreath of shadow to obscure them from potential ranged fire. Plaguebearers planted their profane standards in objectives all across the midboard to secure them ongoing.

The Custodian first turn saw the Wardens continuing their clean-up of the other encroaching Nurglings, massacring the swarms that had waylaid the Caladius Grav-Tank. Dreadnoughts strode forward to secure their natural expansion but forcing their way through the Shadow of Chaos in the middle of the table took its toll and they began suffering damage from battleshock tests. With few ample targets to fire upon the Custodians staged for a turn, moving their Grav-Carrier forward but surrendering the midboard until their troops were consolidated from slaying Nurglings and ready for a dedicated push.
