Expressive Elements by Louisa Millett Jewellery designed and crafted by Louisa Millett. I love wavy flowing lines and working with a range of colourful semi precious stones.

I also like to use NZ icons/imagery and most of all I enjoy creating jewellery that will be treasured by others.This gives me great pleasure. The creation and appreciation of art has always been a big part of my life. After
graduating from Sydney College of the Arts in 1979 with a major in Jewellery and Silversmithing, I began travelling and sailing which took me to San Francisco. After sharing m

y skills with my former husband, together we sold on the streets of San Francisco. We held a permanent stall at the Pike Place market in Seattle for 2yrs, then in 1988 we sailed to Hawaii and sold jewellery in crafts fairs there. We cruised the Pacific with our young family cruising into the Bay of Islands in 1991 - New Zealand being very dear to me as my great grandparents, grandparents and parents were New Zealanders. After a few years of selling at markets in the Bay of Islands we worked hard to expand into the gallery market. I have since exhibited throughout New Zealand in Te Papa Gallery Store,Tamarillo, Kura, Punakaiki Crafts, Burning Issues, The Entrance and Origin. I am settled now in Kerikeri and was a member of the Origin Art and Craft collective from 2004-2010B,Now exhibiting at Burning Issues (Whangarei) Kura (Taupo)Real Aotearoa (Wellington and Auckland) and do private commisssions.

KOAST ART TRAIL POSTPONED UNTIL JANUARY 2022

Auckland Anniversary Weekend

Due to the latest level 3 lockdown in Northland and the uncertainty surrounding this, we have postponed the KOAST ART TRAIL from Labour Weekend until Auckland Anniversary Weekend, 29 – 31 January 2022.

Nothing else changes - just the dates. You'll still find a wonderful arts spectacular with lots of talented artists, a wide range of different mediums and great artworks , as well as the opportunity to win $200 towards a piece of KOAST art.

10.00am to 4,00pm each day

Of course, by Labour Weekend, if New Zealand is in an alert level which would enable you to travel around, we would love you to come up for a weekend getaway. There's so much to do here as well as visit our talented artists - fun activities, stunning scenery, great restaurants, magnificent golf courses, beautiful beaches and balmy seas. Just a wonderful place to enjoy yourself.
