The Little Black Gallery is a modern lifestyle and art space, home to desirable goodies from New Zealand and around the globe. Our style is eclectic, with a personal classical approach to great service. Our customers come instore, take a deep breath, and constantly say "wow" about how good our space makes them feel. Opened 2016, the gallery displays both local and national artists and is also a w

orking studio. We aim to provide a friendly, relaxed environment in which to make a wide variety of quality art accessible to all. Well-established and new artists contribute to this. Little Black Gallery focuses on local and national artists and designers and offers original art, jewellery, prints, art blocks, ceramics and gifts. You can visit us in Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, on site at Treghan Luxury Lodge. As well as the hours shown, we are also available by appointment - please call 021 771 299 or 021 109 0092.

Inspired by the treasures of the New Zealand coastline, Rina Ward of Nostalgem creates jewellery that transforms shells, shore finds and natural forms into beautifully handcrafted pieces with meaning and story.

Based in the Bay of Islands, Rinaโ€™s work reflects a love of beachcombing, nature and memory - turning small coastal treasures into jewellery designed to be worn and treasured every day.

Texture, form and handcrafted detail.

One of the things we always notice in the gallery during the quieter months is how differently people look at objects when they slow down a little.

The texture of hand-thrown clay.

A thoughtful and beautifully produced book exploring the connection between healthy soil, seasonal food, gardens, nature, and the way we live.

Filled with essays, recipes, and reflections, itโ€™s a gentle reminder that some of the best things in life begin slowly - in the garden, around the table, and in the care we give to the spaces around us.

The artwork throughout the book is equally beautiful, featuring paintings by British artist Nancy Cadogan celebrating food, landscape, and nature.

A lovely read for cooler evenings and slower days.
