September means Waratah season. Its a short season for one our favourite blooms.
Did you know the Waratah is a native of Australia and where the Rugby team the "New South Wales Waratahs" gets its name.
Our Waratahs are of course like all our flowers New Zealand grown.
Many people think Waratahs are in the protea family however the Waratah are part of the Telopea genus.
