Makana Confections specialises in gift-quality chocolate and confections, all hand-made and using only the freshest, natural ingredients available. We are New Zealand owned and operated, with two boutique chocolate factories and three retail stores based in the Bay of Islands, Marlborough W**e Country. Christmas has officially begun in the Makana kitchen! 🎄🍫

Our Christmas Mince Pies are already taking shape, with each one carefully filled and finished by hand before joining the growing collection of trays.

They’ll be available in our Kerikeri and Blenheim stores and online from 17 November—but for now, enjoy this little peek behind the scenes.

Our latest Makana Moments recipe pairs each of our baking chocolates with its own warming spice combination:

🤎 Milk chocolate with cinnamon and nutmeg
🖤 Dark chocolate with ginger and cardamom
🤍 White chocolate with raspberry and pink peppercorn

Bake all three for the ultimate cookie tasting plate—or choose your favourite combination for the whole batch.
