To our dear friends and customers,
We had a wonderful last few weeks at Langi's. A warm thank you and fa'afetai lava to all the people who came through to give their well wishes and take home the last bargains!
We wish to express our deep gratitude to all of our loyal customers who have supported and shaped Langi's Island Styles since our first shop in Petone, 1988.
Our shop has served performers and dignitaries, communities, businesses, churches and schools, cultural, sports, art and dance groups. We’ve dressed children for White Sunday, and then for their balls and graduations and weddings, polyfests and cricket festivals. And we have provided for our elders’ passings. It has been our great privilege to serve you and your families through the years.
We gratefully acknowledge all of the staff and suppliers who have supported and worked with us. To our irreplaceable regular staff, you know that we couldn’t have done this without your dedication, patience and love. To Ula, our comedian, newscaster and hard case softie; to Perise (aka the Internet sensation "That Puletasi Girl" ) our executive assistant, online whiz, and beautiful model; to Linda, our speedy seamstress and all round dab hand: Thank you for bringing your hearts, spirits and bodies to serve each day over all these years.
To the many, many friends and family who have given their time and moral support, dropping in and helping out, sharing lunch, staying late, modelling in our fashion shows! (and packing up everything this weekend!) Thank you to each and every one of you.
We are very happy that there is a new creative Samoan family behind the Langi’s Island Styles name. We wish them every success and hope that you will support them in their new business.
