The Common Unity Project is an Award -winning Project that is based at Epuni School, Lower Hutt. The strong collaboration between Common Unity and Epuni School focuses on community building through sound and authentic sustainability practices. ReCycled Rides takes bikes destined for landfill and refurbishes them for the students of Epuni School and also for anyone wanting a bike in the wider commu

nity. Hirers are encouraged to koha back for the use of their bike by gifting time into any of our initiatives at Epuni (eg, The Unity Garden, Koha Kitchen, One Small Piece knitting project, Sew Good Cooperative) or any other skills they have to offer. We recognise everyone has something to offer and that we become powerful in our communities when we share.
