The day my new tent arrived I put it up on the lawn to test it. Such an awesome tent. I was admiring it when the stupid cat decided to run up one side of the tent and down the other, more than once… My poor tent was covered in holes. Fixable though. Now it has some serious patching but is completely weather tight. Nice photo eh.

The zip on this $$$ Icebreaker jacket was separating and the owner thought they needed a new zip. A once over on the zip and a slider repair and it’s good to go. Zips are not always broken, just often bent.

Repairing your outdoor gear. Pack repair, seam repair, strap repair etc. Recently moved from Queenstown to Mapua, Tasman.

Broken zip? You may not need to replace it. Many problems with zips can be fixed without replacing the zip. This suitcase had its slider separate from one side of the zip. A quick repair and it’s back on track!

Velcro has a lifespan and is not too difficult to replace. Instead of throwing out expensive gear, get it fixed so it will last a few more years. Here’s some body armour that has had the Velcro replaced and is now as good as new.
