We make specially crafted Keepsake Bears and Memory Items from your most cherished clothing. We do not stick to just onesies.

*They can be made from 1+ onesies depending on what design you would like and how big the items of clothing are. I can use any items of baby, children and adult clothing. The only clothing I can not work with is hand knitted items.

*Printed Transfers can be added to your new friend to customise it even more. Pricing for these can be found on our website www.theonesiebearnz.com.

*I offer either an upfront full payment or half and half payment options. The half and half payment option means you pay the first half of the full amount and the second half at a later date. This first payment is non-refundable as I have had problems with people not paying in the past. When you have paid the second half I will then make your Onesie Friend when it is your turn. I can also do Layby for people who really need it. You will make it onto the waiting list once half of the full amount has been paid and I will start to make your Onesie Friend after the full amount has been paid.*If you want to do layby it needs to be paid in full within 4 weeks*

This special wee bear had the pleasure of keeping me company in my workspace for a while, but she’s now right where she belongs.

Created from a brand new pattern I’ve been wanting to try since its release, I think this was the perfect project to finally give it a go. And wow, did she turn out amazing!

I created this entire bear and her clothing from scratch to represent a very special lady who has meant so much to myself and many others through our hockey team.

She represents a long standing commitment to a team I had the pleasure of joining back in my college days, and one I’m still an active member of today. With her time to retire, I wanted to create something extra special to celebrate everything she has done for our team, both during my time and long before it.

I incorporated a mini version of our current uniform, fully customised with her number, along with little details showcasing how our team has changed over the years.

She even has a wee bouquet to represent our long standing tradition of being bridesmaids more often than brides in our hockey finals! 😂

And, of course, she’s sporting a mini hockey stick ready for the team to sign.

This was such a special and meaningful make for me, and I’m so happy she’s finally where she belongs.

Here we have it, guys!

This gorgeous Lion was created using a mix of a T-shirt, sweatshirt, baby PJs and onesies.

What a lovely mix of patterns, images and colours to bring together into one very special Keepsake Lion.

It’s also sporting some special custom handwriting embroidery on it's feet, adding that extra little touch of personalisation.

And can we talk about that tie dye mane?! I absolutely love how it frames it's face and creates such a gorgeous focal point for the whole piece.

Who do we have tonight for our sneak peek reveal line up?

This is a face that hasn’t come through the workspace for a little while, so it was lovely to see them back again!

And this time, they’re even boasting a gorgeous little handwriting detail.

Look who we have tonight!

Here is the reveal from our last sneak peek line up, and this gorgeous pair of Keep Me Bears were made especially for Ava and Millie.

Each bear was created using a beautiful mix of baby items belonging to them, with so many gorgeous little details to work with. I had so much fun incorporating the ruffles from sleeves, along with some of the other little details from their clothing, to really bring a little piece of their original outfits into their new keepsakes.

And as a little finishing touch, I was even able to create a couple of heart decorations from some of the leftover fabric. It was such a lovely little way to use some of those final pieces and bring more of their clothing together in the finished keepsakes.

Well, what do we have tonight but another sneak peek at the next order in our reveal line!

This was a special order to bring to life, with two gorgeous Keepsake toys along with a couple of little extras made using some of the leftover fabric scraps. It was such a lovely way to make use of some of the precious fabrics left over that wouldn't be used otherwise.

I’m back with a little more of Shelby’s Keepsake, this time with some video footage from behind the scenes of creating her.

This gorgeous wee Keepsake was made in memory of Shelby, a much loved fluffy family member. Her blanket was carefully transformed into something special to help keep a little piece of her close.

Here’s a glimpse into some of the creating process behind her Keepsake.

I’m back with this gorgeous reveal, created for a repeat customer in memory of their much loved fur baby, Shelby.

Shelby’s keepsake was created using one of her blankets, with both sides incorporated to showcase the different details and accents throughout the keepsake. There was plenty of back and forth between myself and her family during the creating process, making sure we could capture those little details that made Shelby uniquely Shelby, including her adorable ear flop and docked tail.

This is a pattern I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to use, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for creating such a special keepsake.

And when she arrived home, she even got all dressed up in Shelby’s special jersey and collar, bringing all those little pieces together to really capture Shelby as a whole.

A very special keepsake for a very special fur baby.
