📚 Thank you, Mary!

From what probably sounded like a slightly crazy idea in the beginning… to the incredible event and organisation that Featherston Booktown has become today.

A huge thank you to Mary Biggs, who was part of the group that founded Featherston Booktown and has poured so much vision, passion, energy and sheer mahi into it over the years.

What started as an idea has grown into something that has put our little town firmly on the map, brought thousands of people through Featherston, supported our businesses and community, and created something pretty special for us all to be proud of.

Mary has now stepped down from her role to spend more time with whānau — and give her amazing garden a bit more attention! 🌿❤️

Thank you, Mary, for everything you have contributed from those very early days through to the continued growth and success of Booktown.

What a legacy to be part of. 📚🌿

Meredith will be bringing our pop up office to Kitchener's Cafe, 5 Kitchener Street Martinborough on the 1st Tuesday every Month from 8.30am - 1pm, starting 1st September.
